CyberTime: Messages from the future.

This short story only required two chapters. The second chapter coming soon will be available tomorrow.

Chapter 1.

Joshua Stoltz, an eighteen year old art student who accidently accesses the future from his computer. He also finds out more than he expected. So here is his story and the messages that continue to follow throughout.

These messages came in fast, all from different years. It’s really cool how this happened. I altered the time and date on my computer to 4073. Then, in 20 minutes I started receiving messages from the future. Messages came through from people I didn’t even know up until the year 4073. I must have created a type of loop hole in cybertime. The codes were scrambled with my time.

When I mentioned that I’m from the year 2013. Responses came in fast, trying to contact me! I didn’t reply to any of them until that one person. I was scared, tired and unprepared of what could happen if I interfered until that certain year, something extraordinary happened. I made a selfish decision to reply. I would not believe if this was true or not. So I copy and pasted the messages anyway to a word document as they came in. No edits were involved.

“These phone’s are cool, but I can’t tell you what they look like, cos it will ruin the future. Hahaha, I’m not going to say anything anyway. ” Alan, from Tottenham, 15th May, 2031. 3:37PM.

“If this really does reach my past, I’m sorry we broke up our marriage, Jennifer. Please send this message on” Edith, from Basildon, 14th February 2025. 1:28PM.

“I’m not happy about how much glass they are using to create this technology, it’s being depleted fast!” Cathy, from Detroit, 8th December, 3027. 5:15AM.

“Are you really from the past?” Jane, from Essex, 9th November, 2040. 11:30AM.

“Can you stop my wife from taking my house? It would be great if you could let her know, since it was 10 years ago.” Billy, from Wales. 28th January, 2023. 3:17PM.

“Stop mucking around, you’re probabley a troll. Tut, like anyone is going to believe you are from 2013! Well I’m blocking you!” Cruz, from Majorca.12th July, 3004, 1:16AM.

“Mdr!” Jessica, from France, 4th January, 2083, 2:33AM.

“What’s the point of you telling us that you are from this year? Many earthquakes happened but you can’t stop them” Olivia, from Australia. 2nd June, 4026, 8:03PM.

“I can only tell you this one thing, but mosquito’s are the key to solve many health problems. I hope you get this message.” Eric, from Massachusetts, 11th August, 2019. 11:20AM.

“I’m bored, what’s the weather like in 2013?” Becky, from Arizona. 24th March, 3057. 3:06AM.

“I come to let you know that in 2015, a very strong flu virus struck Eastern Europe. Luckily they got the vaccines, but they could have the earlier warning. ” Alexa, from London. 17th May, 2016. 5:37PM.

“Hi, how are you?” Kevin, from Russia. 8th February, 2032. 1:50AM.

“Can I get a shoutout to my past self? Please. My name is Joshua. It’s incredibly urgent” Joshua, from London. 11th October, 2018. 10:00AM.

This is when I replied, I became curious of this name. I began to wonder, could it be me, however I continued to doubt myself.

“What’s your last name?” I replied.

After 5 minutes of waiting that felt like an hour, the response appeared.

“It’s Joshua Stoltz, I know this sounds strange, but i desperatley need to contact myself if this really is a person from 2013”. He replied.

This is when I believed what was happening. So then I continued this absurd conversation with him or me, I should say!?
